Terms & Conditions for ExcelProGantt

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ExcelProGantt software and related services ("the Service"). By creating an account, downloading the file, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

ExcelProGantt is operated by ExcelProGantt, a sole proprietorship registered in Denmark ("we", "us", "our").

1. Description of the Service

ExcelProGantt is an Excel-based project management tool delivered "as is". The software includes optional online features, a built-in messaging function, and license management through our system.

Users receive a free trial period of 7 days, allowing full testing before purchasing any subscription.

2. License and Use

2.1 A subscription grants one license to one individual user.
2.2 Users may share and distribute the file, but login credentials may not be shared.
2.3 Users may not modify or reverse-engineer the macros, scripts, or internal functionality of the Service.
2.4 We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

3. Access After Subscription Ends

3.1 The subscription remains valid until the end of the paid period.
3.2 After expiration, the file may still be opened, but only with very limited functionality.
3.3 We may revoke access or disable online features for users who violate the Terms.

4. Payment, Billing and Refund policy

4.1 All payments, subscription renewals, invoicing, and VAT handling are processed by Paddle.com, our payment provider.

4.2 Customers have the right to request a refund within 14 days from the date of purchase.

4.3 Refund requests must be submitted through Paddle or by contacting our support team. Refunds are processed at our discretion and in accordance with Paddle's refund procedures.

4.4 After the 14-day refund period has expired, all payments are non-refundable.

4.5 You authorize Paddle to manage recurring charges, subscription renewals, refunds, and payment-related communications where applicable.

5. Support

Support is provided through the integrated messaging system and email on a best-effort basis.
No guarantees are made regarding response times, availability, or resolution of issues.

6. Data and Privacy

6.1 The Service stores the following information:

  • Email address

  • MD5-hashed password

  • Device ID

  • IP address at download
    These are used solely for account management, security, and license enforcement.
    6.2 No project data or Excel content is stored by us; all such data remains local to the user's device.
    6.3 Cookies may be used to improve the website experience.
    6.4 Payments and payment-related data are handled exclusively by Paddle, subject to Paddle's Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee that the software will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with any specific version of Excel, Windows, or other systems.

Users are advised to test the software during the free trial before purchasing.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any data loss, including corruption or deletion of Excel files.

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of revenue, profits, business opportunities, or productivity.

  • We are not liable for decisions made based on outputs from the Service.

  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the subscription during the previous billing period.

You use the Service at your own risk.

9. Updates and Modifications

9.1 We may update, change, or improve the Service at any time.
9.2 We may modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or within the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Denmark.
